De Mishimoto racethermostaat is vakkundig ontworpen om naadloos aan te sluiten op de 2.0 TFSI EA888.3 / EA888.4 motoren die worden gebruikt in voertuigen zoals de Golf 7 GTI, Golf 8 R, S3 8V, Leon 3 Cupra en S3 8Y. Het verbetert de koelingsefficiëntie door de opening van het koelvloeistofcircuit te starten bij een temperatuur die 14°C lager is dan normaal.
